2D is a fine art concentration focusing on traditional and contemporary approaches to drawing, painting, printmaking. Students choose from a variety of courses within the area to experiment and express their unique vision. Advanced students may focus primarily on a specific discipline or work across-media taking courses in more than one 2D studio. Learning is both one-on-one and collaborative to develop personal exploration and encourage engagement with a wider aesthetic range. 2D students have access to a variety of tools and technologies from traditional to state of the art, and learn to professionally produce, present, and exhibit their work.
